G+D Netcetera adheres to high standards of data protection of personal data collection and processing.

This Privacy Notice explains what information the Omnium Customer Portal collects about its users and what we do with that information.

This Privacy Notice applies to the information that we obtain through your use/registration in the Omnium Customer Portal services https://omnium-client.braingroup.ch/ via a device or when you otherwise interact with G+D Netcetera.

G+D Netcetera acts as a platform provider in the relationship between users and their financial institutions or independent financial advisors via the Omnium Customer Portal.

In this notice, when we talk about personal data, we mean any information that relates to an identifiable natural person.

If you wish to use the Omnium Customer Portal, you must accept all the provisions of this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree to any provision of this Privacy Notice, you will not be able to register or use the Omnium Customer Portal.

What types of personal data do we collect?

When you use or register with the Omnium Customer Portal, we collect two types of personal data: App Data and Log Data.

App Data

App Data are collected to enable the normal use of the Omnium Customer Portal. These are provided directly by you and include:

  • Name and surname
  • Contact information such as email addresses
  • Organization name
  • Financial information that is already processed, stored, and available in the Omnium Customer Portal

Without this data, we may not be able to provide you with the full functionality of our services.

Log Data

Log Data are collected automatically during normal operation of our infrastructure (e.g., HTTP servers, Sentry servers). These include:

  • IP address
  • Web browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Your time activity on the Portal, including entry and exit
  • Anonymized data entered in dialogues

Please note that some of these data, such as IP addresses, are anonymized. This means we cannot identify your location or associate your Portal usage with any other personal data we hold.

The collection of Log Data is necessary for the secure and efficient operation of the Omnium Customer Portal and helps us improve our services.

a. data is given to us by you; and
b. data is collected automatically

a. when you contact us upon login via Budget Planner
b. when you register with us and set up an account to receive our service

in each case, in accordance with this privacy notice.

Omnium Customer Portal uses only necessary cookies. These cookies are “Session cookies”, They are temporary, first-party, session-based cookies, often referred to as transient or non-persistent cookies.

We do not use cookies to identify and track the users. We do not use cookies to analyze the website usage and assist in our marketing efforts.

What is the purpose and the legal grounds for processing your personal data?

We always process your personal data for a specific purpose and only process the personal data relevant to achieve that purpose.

We may disclose personal data to public authorities, regulators or governmental bodies when required by law or regulation or if an authority or governmental body has issued an order requesting such personal data from us. Before we provide the information, we will inform you if the applicable law allows us to do so.

We store and process your personal data on servers located within Switzerland. We do not transfer your personal data outside of Switzerland and/or the EEA. If special cases require a transfer of personal data outside of Switzerland and/or the EEA, we only do so where (i) the country ensures an adequate level of protection for your personal data, (ii) we have put appropriate safeguards in place to protect your personal data or (iii) the transfer is permitted by applicable laws.
